gnome-photos software package provides application to access, organize and share your photos with GNOME, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnome-photos
gnome-photos is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnome-photos package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnome-photos *
You will get with gnome-photos package name, version, architecture and description in a table
